Back in 2002, a good friend of mine, Mike Fitt and I say down to discuss the possibility of commemorating the role of the Royal Parks in the Great War.
Now seven years on with numerous events and funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund we are closing in on the end.
One of our highlights as the 10th Essex was the chance to build a trench in Kensington Gardens. This was a great success and now has been featured in a National Publication by the DCMS and we get a mention.
