Over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th August 2019, we attended an event at Kentwell Hall called ‘Through the Ages’. We were invited by a fellow Living History Group portraying the Army Service Corps.
As usual, we did what we do best is show and tell. On display was a armoury where the rifles would be overhauled or repaired, a recruitment station and a Command Tent. The day was interpersed with the usual opening and closing of the camp, kit displays and a simulated attack showing how the bombers would have been protected by the regiment. We also visited the Tudor camp and took part in a display of weaponry through the ages.
Certainly we will be back next year with an even better and bigger display. Look forward to seeing you all there.
